Pauline Augusta Davied, 92, of Pittsburg, Kansas died at 4:25 P.M. Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at her home.
Mrs. Davied was born August 18, 1931 at Girard, Kansas the daughter of George Fred and Pearl Edna Watson Trout. Pauline was a homemaker and worked for the Census Bureau for 30 years. She was a lifelong resident of Girard and Pittsburg. She was raised in rural Girard and graduated from Girard High School in the Class of 1948. She was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Altar Society, and the Daughters of Isabella at St. Paul. Survivors include five daughters, Sharon (Earl) Harris of Girard, Charlotte Pittman of Vinita, Oklahoma, Mary Katherine Davied of Pittsburg, Cindy (Tim) Hoffman of Pittsburg, and Jennifer (Chris) Buehler of Tulsa, Oklahoma, five sons, John (Carolyn) Davied of Lyndon, Kansas, Bob (Lana) Davied of Towanda, Kansas, Joe Davied of Frontenac, Mike (Kay) Davied of Tucson, Arizona, and Rick (Missy) Davied of Liberal, Missouri, one sister, Marjorie Hallacy of Girard, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three daughters, Joan Davied, Margret Davied, and Donna Smith, two sisters, Ruth Thresher and Thelma Statler, two brothers, George and John Trout, and three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 A.M. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg, Kansas with Father Michael Simone as the Celebrant. Burial will be at the Girard Cemetery. Rosary will be at 6 P.M. Friday at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma where the family will receive friends following the rosary until 7:30 P.M. The family suggests memorials to St. Mary’s Altar Society. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.

She is a kind and caring person and loved her family. l will miss you my dear friend yet grateful you are resting in the Arms of Angels in Heaven. You left an imprint in my Heart Sweet Lady.
