MARSHA ANN HUTTON January 22, 1953 - February 6, 2025

Date of Funeral

February 13, 2025

Marsha Ann Hutton, age 72, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at her home in Iola, KS. She was born January 22, 1953 in Pittsburg, Kansas. The daughter of Mike and Sadie (Saia) Benso.

Marsha was the proud mother of Adam Pintar whom she shared with late husband Jerry Pintar. On March 30, 1999 she was married to Charles Hutton. With this union she gained her two daughters Jaime Robinson and Jennifer Snook.  Marsha grew up in Franklin, KS where she attended grade school. She later transferred to Arma when the Franklin school closed. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1971. Marsha completed Cosmetology school in Pittsburg, KS, and was a dedicated professional. She worked alongside some very talented women that she had the privilege of calling best friends. She also worked as an instructor for the Fort Scott Community College Cosmetology program for over 23 years.  Marsha cherished the memories, relationships, and lives she touched along the way. She would often visit, share a meal, and laugh over old stories with former students. Marsha loved to be in her kitchen and if she had the opportunity to host a gathering she would. Some of her favorite times were with family gathered around her table sharing laughs and making memories while playing games. You never entered or exited her presence without getting the best hug. Her contagious smile and love will forever leave an impact on those blessed to have known her.  Marsha is survived by husband Charles, three children Adam (Nilam) of North Potomac MD, Jamie (Irving) of Iola, KS, and Jennifer (Landon) of Scammon, KS. She was blessed with nine grandchildren, Amita Pintar, Kishan Pintar, Rylee Knavel, Caden Knavel, Wyatt Brant, Victoria Robinson, Wesson Robinson, Kyler Robinson, and Steven Robinson. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law Norma Benso of Girard, KS and Linda Benso of Loch Lloyd, MO.  She was preceded in death by her parents Mike Benso and Sadie Saia Benso, late husband Jerry Pintar, and two brothers Kenneth Benso and Donald Benso.

So sad to hear. I always enjoyed taking my elderly mother to the beauty shop in Pittsburg and listening to those two talk while working on Mom’s hair. Marsha made Mom happy and she always left feeling good. Nice memories.

I can barely remember you not being in my life. Meeting at Franklin Grade School. Baby sitting each other all through grade school while our moms worked. We spent every day, every summer together. And most of the nights at one house or the other. Always walking or riding our bikes between each others house. I never look at a Barbie Doll without thinking of you and the hours we spent playing with them. And listening to records and watching our soap operas and learning to cook. Then there was our skating group. Every weekend. Sometimes 2 nights, and or Sunday afternoon. You’d think someone from our group would have gone professional and made money from it! Then I moved to the big city and we saw each other much less often but always kept up with cards and phone calls. Hours of phone calls. And always always finding something to laugh about. I’m going to miss you so much. No one to talk about all that fun with. I feel like I just lost my last sister. I love you girlfriend, and will anxiously look for you in Heaven when I get there. Mary.
