Lamona Marie Peterson, 61, of rural Liberal, Missouri died at 7:05 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2024 at her home.
Mrs. Peterson was born October 29, 1963 at Ft. Scott, Kansas the daughter of Roy and Deana Rolando Farmer. Lamona was a homemaker and retail clerk. She was raised in Bronaugh, Missouri and graduated from Bronaugh High School in the Class of 1982. She lived in the Bronaugh and Liberal are most of her live. She loved animals. She married Michael (Mike) Peterson on August 6, 1983 in Bronaugh, Missouri. Survivors include her husband, Mike of the home, a daughter, Sheena Peterson of Liberal, Missouri, a son, Shawn Peterson of Liberal, Missouri, and a brother, Roy (Linda) Farmer of Bronaugh, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Darren Farmer, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald and Muriel Peterson.
Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma, Kansas with Rev. Dan Davis officiating. Burial will be at the Bluff Cemetery rural Verdella, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Thursday prior to the funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
