Dave R. Case, 76, of Frontenac, Kansas died at 8:17 P.M. Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Ascension Via Christi Hospital at Pittsburg, Kansas of a sudden illness.

Mr. Case was born June 2, 1947 at Jefferson City, Missouri the son of Iris (Heiniger) and Bill Case.  Dave was a retired truck driver who worked many years delivering Dr. Pepper and later working for Burke Oil Company. His passions were fishing, collecting old pop bottles and license plates and signs, and restoring old cars and gas pumps. He graduated from Mulberry High School in the Class of 1965. He served in the Army National Guard. He married Linda Stewart on January 26, 1968 at the Mulberry Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Case survives at the home. He enjoyed a long time membership in the Rollin’ Nostalgia Car Club and the many good friends he made. He attended the Frontenac United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Linda of the home, two daughters, Karen (Troy) Kukovich of Frontenac, Susan (Troy) Cook of Pittsburg, a son, David (Lisa) Case of Overland Park, Kansas, a brother, Bill (Patty) Burke of Pittsburg, and six grandchildren, Dyson (Holly), Kalyn (Jose), Emily, Kathryn, Alina and Harrison, and one great grandchild, Dorothy. He was preceded in death by his mother Iris Burke and father Bill Case, and a sister, Patricia Werner.

Funeral services will be at 11A.M. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma, Kansas with Pastor Elmer Armijo officiating. Burial will be at the Rosebank Cemetery at Mulberry, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Saturday at the Bedene Chapel prior to the funeral. The family suggests memorials to the Mulberry Cemetery Fund. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
