Joseph Henry Page, 86, of rural Pittsburg, Kansas died at 3:21 P.M. Thursday, September 18, 2025 at this home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Page was born October 15, 1938 at Chicopee, Kansas the son of Joe and Henrietta Maiseroulle Page Sr. Joe was a businessman who was a lifelong rural Pittsburg resident. He was a cattle rancher buying and selling cattle, he owned J & K Farms, he was an auctioneer, he owned and operated Page Sanitation and Roll-Off businesses, and earlier worked for A.J. Cripe Bread Company. He married Rachel Smallwood in 1958 at Miami, Oklahoma. They later divorced. He later married Kay F. Rogers on December 6, 1968 in Pittsburg, Kansas. Kay preceded him in death February 4, 2025. Survivors include a daughter, Jane (John) Elmer of Cherokee, Kansas, two step-daughters, Denise (Zack) Quier of Pittsburg and Donna (Park) Moore of Weir, a step-son, Jeff Park of Pittsburg, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Kay, daughter, Lisa Ann Page, four sisters, Beverly Seely, Betty Lloyd, Rosemary Page, and Carol Page, and a half-brother, Marvin Page.
Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma, Kansas with Bo Boulware giving the eulogy. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery at Pittsburg, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 P.M. Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Bedene Chapel. The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
