Patricia “Pat” Ann Page, 70, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Arma, Kansas took her final bow and ascended to heaven on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
Pat was born March 16, 1954 in Pittsburg, Kansas the daughter of Andrew and Beatrice Prasniker Ashbacher. Patricia’s life was a masterpiece of love and laughter. Her devotion to family was her guiding light. During her 30+ years in banking, Patricia was known for her willingness to help others. It wasn’t uncommon to see her helping widows balance their checkbooks, among other acts of kindness. She met the love of her life and soulmate, Ron Page, at the young age of 17 in Arma, Kansas, and their 52 years of marriage were a whirlwind of adventures, new experiences, and sideline cheers for their beloved children, grandchildren and the Kansas City Chiefs. Patricia’s enthusiasm for life spilled over into her passions: hosting family gatherings, 1950-60’s music, polka dancing, playing slot machines, bingo, traveling, suntanning (always with baby oil), frozen margaritas (especially in the summer, while sitting outside covered in a blanket), and above all, her five grandkids. She loved making sugar cookies with them and allowed more sprinkles than Papa normally preferred. Her love for the KC Chiefs was unparalleled; her spirited cries of “Hurt’em or break their legs” during the Chiefs games was a weekly phrase around the Page household September to January. She leaves behind a legacy of love cherished by her devoted husband Ron, children Kyle (Melissa) and Lacey (Zach), grandchildren Kelyn, Jaxson, Mikah, Alexa, Margo; nine siblings, Andy Ashbacher Jr. (Margaret), Mary (Don) Lipasek, Agnes (Lee) Goodman, Regina (Jim) Davidson, John (Peggy) Ashbacher, Margaret Shilts, Henry (Jill) Ashbacher, Sharon (Curt) Dietz, and Michael (Janet) Ashbacher, and numerous, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Steve Ashbacher, Theresa Shipman, and Emma Lewis.
