Linda Mae Eshelbrenner, 74 of Frontenac, KS passed away peacefully August 16, 2025 at Advent Health, Shawnee Mission, KS.  She was surrounded by her family.

Linda was born October 18, 1950, in Kansas City, MO to James and Dorothy Papst.  She married Albert Eshelbrenner Jr, on June 13, 1970, and was married for 55 years.  Together they had four children Matthew (Laura) Eshelbrenner of Roeland Park, KS, Steven Eshelbrenner of Pittsburg, KS, Angela (Blake) Montgomery of Olathe, KS, and Theresa (Adam) Davenport of Liberal, MO.

Linda loved children and being able to take care of them.  She ran an in-home daycare for 13 years before working for the Family Resource Center and falling ill.  She spent the next several years enjoying her seven grandchildren Haley (Shawn) Phillips, Jordan Montgomery, Catherine Eshelbrenner, Benjamin Eshelbrenner, Kensley Montgomery, Carter Montgomery and Isaac Eshelbrenner.  Along with her great-grandchild Ann Marie Phillips.

Linda loved time with her family from playing cards and games, to camping and cooking to when they all played sports.  She was an avid reader, and you could not catch her without a book or her Kindle.  Linda and Albert enjoyed their many cruises and trips to Branson each year.

She is survived in the home by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sister Roxanne (Glenn) Andregg of Laurie, MO, sisters-in-law Barbara (John) Hagood of Medicine Lodge, KS, and Rosemary (Eric) Ballweber of Carthage, MO and brother-in-law Richard Eshelbrener of McKinney, TX.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, August 22, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac, KS with Father Josh Evans as Celebrant.  Rosary will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 22, 2025 preceding the mass.  Burial of the cremains will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Frontenac, KS.  Family suggests memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Memorial Fund.  Donations may be sent to or left at Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, KS 66712.
