Our hearts are saddened with the news of her passing. My mom and Kathryn were like sisters and often mistaken as sisters by strangers at the polka dances. Kathryn was such a joy, always smiling and bring laughter to the room. She will be missed on earth but is now with the her many friends and family members in heaven. Our condolences to the family.

Kathryn always had a smile and a sparkle in her eyes that lit up any room. She was a sweet lady and fun to be with causing much laughter from those around her. Although we are saddened by her passing, I’m sure many of those happy memories will keep her alive and with us. My condolences to John and family. Rest in Peace, Kathryn.

Mrs. Lancellotti was my 4th Grade teacher and I have nothing but good memories of her. I was blessed to get to thank her a few years ago for teaching me long division! She was the same funny, sweet lady that taught us so much. She is missed!

To the Family of Mrs. Kathryn Lancellotti,

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of such a remarkable woman. Mrs. Lancellotti was my third-grade teacher at Eugene Ware, and to this day, I carry the warmth, kindness, and grace she brought into our classroom.

She had that rare gift of making each child feel seen, safe, and capable. I remember thinking she was perfect—always smiling, always encouraging, always gentle. Her presence shaped not only how we learned, but how we believed in ourselves.

I later learned that she was of Italian descent, and now—many years later—I find myself living in Italy. It brings me an even deeper appreciation for the quiet strength, deep values, and joy she brought into the world. She embodied so much of what I’ve come to love about this culture: generosity, dignity, and heart.

Thank you for sharing her with all of us lucky enough to be her students. Her legacy lives on in countless hearts.

    With gratitude and sympathy,
    Megan
